Cover Reveal: Geek Girls Don't Cry by Andrea Towers

Geek & Sundry revealed the cover for Andrea Towers’ upcoming book, Geek Girls Don’t Cry: Real-Life Lessons From Fictional Female Characters. The cover art is illustrated by the incredibly talented Paulina Ganucheau, and Geek & Sundry also announced that the book includes a forward by Critical Role actress Marisha Ray.

From Buffy the Vampire Slayer to Princess Leia Organa, the characters in our favorite stories overcome seemingly impossible odds to become heroes. Among the chapters dedicated to princesses, wizards, and superheroes, you’ll find a look at another beloved character who has passed through fire: Critical Role‘s Keyleth.

Andrea and other notable contributors to the book turn those characters’ stories and personalities into strategies for coping with what real life throws at us non-superpowered types. Geek girls don’t cry, after all–they get stronger!”

Geek Girls Don’t Cry by Andrea Towers will be published by Sterling Publishing on April 2, 2019.
