No. You are welcome to join the workshop no matter how far along you are with your project. In fact, sometimes working on a query letter while you’re still writing the manuscript can help you focus in on what’s most important in your book.

The Query Letter Workshop is an online event. The live class and Q&A session takes place on Zoom. You will receive joining instructions in a downloadable PDF after registration.

Yes, the workshop is recorded for those who have registered in advance. The recording is available for 2 weeks after the live event.

No. This workshop is interactive. Participants are encouraged to keep their cameras on and unmute their mics to ask questions and have discussions throughout the class.

No material submitted for critique during the workshop will be considered for literary representation. You are welcome to send Maria Vicente a query letter in the future using official submission guidelines, but this workshop is not an opportunity to query Maria for literary representation.
